I create a warm non-judgmental environment in which to explore your struggles and help heal wounds. My goal is to help you identify and utilize your own resources, and make suggestions about new ways in which to look at problems. I focus on utilizing your strengths to help you build skills toward a more enriching life, such as healthy boundaries, assertiveness, and communication skills. I incorporate somatic techniques and EMDR with talk therapy.
I work from attachment-focused and trauma-focused perspectives and am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is a trauma resolution modality.
