About
Therapy is a way to help you more deeply understand yourself and gain perspective to take steps toward a more satisfying life. A good match between therapist and client is essential to personal growth and healing. I provide a safe and collaborative space for you to openly express yourself and explore the issues that are affecting you. With honesty and warmth, I will help you build the awareness necessary to move toward your goals and learn the skills you'll need to navigate, and find meaning in, inevitable challenges.
I have extensive experience working with adults and teens struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and eating and body image concerns. I integrate mindfulness-based, cognitive-behavioral, relational and social justice therapies in my practice. I tailor my approach to each individual's unique goals, values, and strengths.
I completed my predoctoral internship at Temple University's Counseling Center, specializing in treating young adults. My postdoctoral training focused on conducting Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with adolescents and adults. In addition to private practice, I enjoy my work at the Healthy Teen Project, a partial hospitalization program for eating disorders.
