Many clients I work with feel misunderstood, overwhelmed, alienated, lonely, guilty, and disconnected. They may be stuck in patterns that no longer serve them and struggle with understanding the "why" behind their thoughts, feelings, and actions. Some of my clients come to therapy due to circumstances outside of their control, such as being parent-referred or court-ordered. These clients may feel guarded, skeptical, and disengaged. Regardless of referral source, some common goals are better self-understanding, increased emotional awareness, and greater control over their responses.
I am an art therapist who specializes in working with preteens, teens, and adults navigating ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, and legal involvement. My approach is eclectic, creative, and flexible, drawing from multiple therapeutic techniques to create the best possible fit for your needs, strengths, and goals. Art is optional!
