Hello there, I’m Katie! As a mental health therapist, my clinical practice has primarily involved working with children, adolescents, and young adults in a variety of settings, including treatment foster care, outpatient clinical services, and school-based mental health. I have years of experience supporting children and adults explore and address a wide range of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. I embrace a client-centered, strength-based approach, working collaboratively with my clients to establish a safe and supportive space for growth and healing.
I incorporate a variety of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and solution-focused interventions to provide individualized care to meet the unique needs of each client. I enjoy building relationships with my clients, and believe this is crucial to the process.
