Sometimes we start therapy not feeling clear about what brings us to the work. We just know we want to feel better. I strive to cultivate a compassionate, safe environment for my clients, enabling them to clarify goals, identify inherent strengths and build skills to better cope with challenges they face. Although I am grounded in a psychodynamic approach to therapy, I am well-trained in a variety of modalities. I tailor my approach to fit what you need at a particular point in time so that you feel more informed, grounded and agile- better able to manage how you experience life.
My clients are often experiencing: Grief and Loss, Life Transitions, Adjustment to Diagnosis of a Life-Changing or Life-Limiting Illness, Depression and/or Anxiety, Relationship Difficulties, Caregiver Distress, Healthcare Worker Needing Support, Infertility, Pregnancy Loss, Reproductive/Family Decision-Making
It is easy to become disconnected and disembodied from the changes we wish to see in our lives. Part of my role is to help you reconnect with yourself and what motivates you, enabling you to feel supported and capable of making conscious decisions about your life.
