Hello! I'm Mary "Katie" Romley. I'm an LPCC in the state of California specializing in therapy work with adults and adolescents. I have a background in working with folks who have experienced trauma. Safety and support are hugely important to me. I offer psychotherapy in a supportive, non-judgmental style. If you feel like you need a therapist who is easy to talk with, but can also help you really think through issues, I might be the right fit.

Some of my specialties in treatment include: focus on healthy work/life balance, family conflicts, burnout, building communication skills (either within relationships or individually), self-concept and self-esteem. I enjoy listening for each person's unique story. I use my familiarity with narrative therapy to bring out the story in each individual person.

Goals will be: social connection, getting to know self, providing kind and truthful feedback and learning new self-care strategies for a life of more ease and wellness. Men's Social Group

Men's group to increase opportunities for men to socialize with other men who are doing their own healing work. Part of the group will be process oriented and the rest will be instructional. Participants are encouraged to share their stories, concerns, or worries with one another in this safe space for healing and growth. ONLINE group is open to California residents. This is a group of support offered for LGBTQIA+ identifying individuals who would like support in their journey. Those who are still new to their own identity journey are particularly welcome and invited to take this first step. Group is open to all gender expressions and is a safe space for all. Plans for group are learning self-care tools for the self, in addition to communication with others who are experiencing similar journeys. Next Group begins September 2023.
