Hi! I'm Katie, a licensed professional counselor in Colorado. I enjoy working with people to overcome trauma and other challenges in life; to encourage growth, and realize their strengths. We, as humans, are resilient we often just need someone in our own corner to help us see our own growth and strengths to become the best version of oneself possible!
In our first session we will cover the necessary things such as paperwork, important disclosures, and gather an overall sense of where our work will take us. I enjoy working most with people who are ready to do some work! Now this doesn't mean it has to be fast paced or super hard work, but a little intention setting and willingness to work go a long ways!
I feel that my greatest strengths as a provider are being able to meet people on a human level first and most importantly. I feel that through my own education and life experiences I can relate well to the people I work with which strengthens our therapeutic rapport and relationship.
