Parents of children with behavioral or learning challenges often encounter higher levels of stress and can struggle to understand why what works for others isn't working for them. By combining educational, behavioral, and psychological flexibility expertise, I work with parents to help them uncover the ways that shifting their own behavior can create opportunities for their child/children to make different choices.
With over 25 years in education, 12 years specializing in behavior - I can support parents through behavior change for themselves, their children, or provide educational consulting to help navigate a complicated system of educational supports. I also offer coordination of care across multi-disciplinary teams if communication is a difficulty.
All parents could use the help of a coach - we all struggle to understand how to move forward and support our children. My approach provides a supportive, compassionate space for you to ask for help, talk about the struggles, and try out new tools and ideas to help you and your children thrive.
