Sometimes it feels like the world has already decided who we are, or who we are destined to be, leaving us feeling hopeless. It can be incredibly difficult to find purpose, meaning and a sense of fulfillment. I find value in exploring societal expectations, systems dictating power and privilege, and generational patterns within the family of origin to help clients reclaim their power, autonomy and inner-strength. Many of my clients are college students and adults navigating life transitions, grief, exploring aspects of identity such as gender, sexuality and spirituality, and folks struggling with depression, anxiety and trauma.
As a client-centered therapist, I empower you to find your voice and deepen self-trust. I am passionate about identity development and am humbled to promote a culture of radical self-acceptance. I view my clients as the expert of their experience and myself as a guide, sounding board and a safe place to land. I incorporate yoga and mindfulness if desired.
