Katie trusts in the therapeutic process that encourages self-growth, created from an accepting and collaborative experience. Katie received her Master of Social Work Degree with an emphasis in Clinical Social Work from Florida State University.
Katie utilizes trauma informed approaches with patients of all ages. She is an EMDR Level II trained therapist and uses this as well as many other evidence-based interventions to assist her patients in overcoming challenges. Most of her work has focused on those affected by trauma, conflict, school issues and other life transitions.
Katie, who is a local of the Florida panhandle, has a strong connection and deep roots to our community. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and their fur babies. You will find them often enjoying the beach, paddle boarding, visiting the mountains, and site seeing around our beautiful Gulf coast.
