I enjoy treating individuals (adolescents, teens, and adults) suffering from symptoms of anxiety, depression, anger/aggression, mood dysregulation, trauma, behavioral difficulties, and other concerns, such as insomnia & work/life balance. Treatment is provided to people & their families who seek improvement in their daily functioning, including work, school, relationships, family dynamics, and overall outlook. Patients are the experts on themselves, and should be willing & able to actively participate in the therapeutic process, which may include the exploration and practice of, positive, appropriate, and adaptive coping skills.
I offer treatment in the form of Interpersonal Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Treatment is tailored to the patient's needs, is solution focused, and is generally patient led.
It can be difficult for us to reach out and ask for help, and even more so, when our day-to-day lives become chaotic and stressful. It is important to feel supported and validated. Please do not hesitate to reach out, and benefit from the much needed self-care that many of us do not consistently allow ourselves to do.
