About
Welcome! I'm glad you're here. I help people discover a more peaceful relationship with food, eating, and their bodies. Like many in this field, I came to this work through my own journey with mental health, food, and body. I continue to do this work in hopes of connecting with others and helping them tune into the wisdom their bodies already hold on their path to healing. I offer both mental health therapy and nutrition services and specialize in food and body relationship and disordered eating. I also enjoy working with folks struggling with anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
I take a collaborative approach to therapy and nutrition counseling and work from a trauma-informed and weight-inclusive lens. I draw from many modalities in my work including Relational Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, as well as other fat-positive modalities including Health at Every Size, Body Trust, and Intuitive Eating.
We are relational beings and I believe that what has been harmed in relationship has to be healed in relationship. I trust you to know what is best for yourself and strive to help you hear and trust yourself. Reach out to schedule a free consult to see if we are a good fit!
