Realizing that help is needed and reaching out can be difficult. I hope to make this process easier. I work with individuals across the lifespan- from children starting at the age of 11 to adults- helping them navigate the broad range of life challenges: depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, parenting struggles, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with people around LGBTQIA+ issues and with people experiencing tinnitus. Having someone listen to you without judging or minimizing what you feel and think is powerful.
I provide a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where you can develop a greater understanding of yourself and your relationships, improve your emotional health and well-being, and develop new ways of responding to life’s challenges. I bring compassion, patience, and a sense of humor to the therapeutic relationship.
I take a culturally-informed approach to therapy and have experience delivering care to individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, as well as those from the LGBTQIA+ community and neurodiverse folks.
