Inevitably, we all face challenges in our lives. They come in many forms, ranging from an unexpected diagnosis, to a spirited child, to a significant loss. I believe that we are all stronger than we realize when faced with these situations. Sometimes we just need help seeing the strength in ourselves. I feel honored to help my clients walk through difficult periods in their lives and respect their unique journeys.
I provide psychological assessments and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I have a particular passion for working with individuals and families impacted by medical illness. I also enjoy working with healthcare providers. I see clients in-person and via telehealth in NC. I am a PSYPACT provider and can provide telehealth in 40+ states.
My therapeutic style is warm and collaborative. I often use a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and behavioral parent training. I generally work to adapt evidence-based therapeutic approaches to each client, recognizing that every patient and family are unique.
