I provide high-quality, compassionate treatment to children, adolescents, teens, and young adults to address a wide range of difficulties. I utilize evidence-based treatment such as Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to focus on academic challenges, anger management/tantrums/aggression, anxiety, ADHD, bedwetting/toileting problems, family issues, destructive behavior, executive function difficulties, noncompliance/rules violations, relationship issues, parenting difficulties, fears, school behavior, sleep problems, social skills, and verbal abuse. I also have training in child and family therapy.
I am a board-certified, licensed clinical professional counselor in Maryland. I completed my masters-level training in School Psychology at Towson University, with additional training and 20+ years of experience at Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore providing treatment for individual and family problems within the clinic, home, and school settings.
My training allows me to assist families who present with stressors surrounding their child's behavior including divorce/separation, bullying, blended families, peer conflict, transition to a new environment, or lack of social support, among others. I also present to parents or teachers in a group setting to address behavior at home and in the classroom.
