My therapeutic goals begin with reducing psychological and emotional pain, and increasing self efficacy and happiness. Whether the source of pain is past trauma, worry about the future, or even current jobs or relationships, I am here to help! I often see clients whose trauma began with surviving domestic abuse in the forms of emotional, psychological, physical, sexual, and/or financial abuses. Abuse in close relationships or families can create pervasive and persistent psych-ache, and may be passed from generation to generation.
My work centers on helping clients to locate the source of psych-ache and discontinue the pattern of suffering. I utilize tools from different treatment modalities, tailored to each client's needs and preferences, to help my clients safely process past trauma and make plans to move forward on healthy paths.
The most important part of therapy is feeling safe, welcome, and comfortable. I aim to create an open and caring space for each of my clients on a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. I'd love to help you in your road to healing.
