As your therapist, I hope to create a space of support where healing will begin; whether it be from past trauma, current stressors, or anxieties about the future. I hope to support you as you recover from any of the challenges life may have brought you - trauma, depression or anxiety, addiction, relationship and attachment issues, or codependency. I have experience working with a wide range of populations which includes adults as well as young people. My therapeutic approach is informed by my experience with somatic practices like yoga and meditation as well as recovery from addiction.
In session, I will hold compassion for your process. I offer several evidenced-based therapeutic modalities and techniques designed to help regulate your nervous system. I may use somatic therapy, EMDR, attachment theory, and/or inner-child work & reparenting to help guide you from a place of dysregulation toward a state of healing, regulation, and growth.
I believe that our bodies and nervous systems map our experiences. My role will be to guide you inward to embody those experiences and move toward a life of freedom with the tools in place for lasting change. I know that you are capable of change and growth; and that healing is possible. I can't wait to meet you.
