Hi and welcome! I’m a licensed clinical psychologist and am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). I am licensed in Colorado and Utah and, as a PSYPACT-authorized psychologist, provide telepsychology services in over 30 states including Texas, Florida, Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina, and many more. I was born and raised in the Midwest, where I learned the best way to deal with problems was by “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps.” I still believe that hard work is an integral part of the process, but I’ve also learned that, sometimes, progress only happens when you talk to someone.
If poor sleep is negatively impacting your life, I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to just “live with it” or rely on medications for a good night’s sleep. I’ve had the privilege of helping countless people refine their sleep habits, even while dealing with other concerns like anxiety, OCD, depression, menopause, or sleep apnea.
I use research-based strategies from CBT-I to help you understand how your sleep problems developed and create a personalized treatment plan that will get your sleep back on track. I also like to incorporate elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to look at the big picture, explore what matters most to you, and work towards creating a life you love.
