I am dedicated to bringing peace to the world, one person, one couple, one family, one community and one organization at a time. My speciality is working with survivors of trauma, high conflict couples and families. We use the DBT skills as the foundation of our program adding the notion of 100% accountability. I am also trained in EMDR, Exposure therapy and CBT for trauma. Many of my clients have substance abuse issues and have yet to find true serenity despite working an AA program. Our program teaches the skills for intimacy and connection...and this brings inner peace.
We use 7 basic steps. The steps: 1) the dialectic to see new angles and find synthesis 2) a non judgmental stance 3) emotion regulation skills 4) core mindfulness skills 5) distress tolerance skills 6) interpersonal effectiveness skills that balance objective, relationship and self respect 7) 100% accountability.
My practice is unique because I use these skills in my life and belong to a DBT consult to hold myself accountable to using these skills with my clients. I am dedicated to developing outcomes and providing treatment that works!!
