Hi. I'm Katie. My ultimate goal is to help people lead a more satisfying, compassionate, and authentic existence. My clients are folks who embrace their humanness and gather the courage to work through the root cause of their pain and recognize how it is showing up in the present moment. I work with adult individuals struggling with anxiety, systemic issues, religious trauma, sexual abuse and associated trauma, grief and loss. I also work with LGBTQIA+ teens (16+) who are struggling with identity, sexual orientation, and the stress of being a queer kid in the world we live in.
I practice from a holistic, relational-psychodynamic approach that focuses on bringing the unconscious into consciousness, taking into account an individual’s mind, body, spirit, and the systems and culture they live in. I use principles of internal family systems and incorporate somatic practices into our sessions.
My hope is that you will find our sessions to be an empathetic, non-judgmental space for you to be radically honest and explore your authentic self. I believe each of us has an inner wisdom working to help guide us toward healing. I look forward to the work we will do together.
