Hello! My name is Katie Howard, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Therapy can be scary and intimidating but, in my approach, I welcome all with kindness, respect, and a safe space to express who you are. In my therapy sessions, I use CBT, DBT, ACT, and Trauma Informed Care to work with and address patients.
Ideally, I prefer to work with adults, age 18-99. However, I have experience with all ages, including adolescents. I have experience working with those who struggle with addiction, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and many other issues.
In my sessions, I communicate with kindness, respect, and empathy. I offer a safe space for my patients to share their thoughts and feelings without the worry of being judged or criticized.
