As a therapist, I bring a deep understanding of the challenges that come with neurodivergence and chronic illness. My work centers on supporting individuals as they move through life transitions while also addressing the unique complexities of their lived experiences. I specialize in supporting teens and young adults. I also work closely with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, providing a safe and affirming space to explore identity. I am equally committed to addressing the impact of racial injustice, providing an affirming space where clients can process, heal, and build resilience in the face of systemic challenges.
I use a blend of DBT, psychodynamic therapy, person-in-environment perspective, and trauma-informed care. I place a strong emphasis on psychoeducation, as I believe therapy is ineffective without first understanding what is happening in our brains + bodies. When you gain this knowledge, you are better equipped to recognize patterns & build coping skills.
As a queer, neurodivergent individual and someone living with chronic illness, I offer clients a depth of understanding that is both personal and professional. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that “neurodivergence recognizes neurodivergence”—a perspective that allows me to connect with clients in meaningful, authentic ways.
