I have felt honored to serve individuals (teens/adult men/adult women) and families (specifically children and parents from birth-5, adoptive/foster caregivers, families working with county based services, or grandparents raising grandchildren) who are experiencing or have experienced traumas that have left them with feelings of attachment disconnect in relationships, struggles with their sense of identity, worth, value or self compassion, difficult/painful life transitions, or the isolation/loneliness that can come with that awful question we sometimes hear our brain ask our hearts: is it just me?
Part of my therapeutic approach is to engage with you from a side by side perspective instead of an 'expert-client' hierarchy. By building a relationship this way, we can, together, as partners, find understanding in how some of our painful histories or everyday struggles can be reframed and utilized as new tools to challenge old narratives.
I want to fit my approach to your needs so you can feel empowered and confident in the truth you experience in the many roles of your life. My goal is to assist you in feeling a sense of confidence in what your story is and how such experiences can both heal old wounds and create new, healthy, connections in the relationships want or already have.
