My aim is to offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you are supported in your healing. I value a flexible approach that supports you in your own goals. The comfortability and trust you feel in our relationship is one of the most important aspects of therapy. Common themes in my work with clients include transforming beliefs and behaviors that are no longer helpful; processing difficult emotions and experiences; and growing a more supportive relationship with self. I operate from a clinical framework that is non-pathologizing, queer affirming, neurocomplex affirming and body liberation and collective liberation oriented.
I work with many people who benefit from an integrative, mind/body/spirit perspective. I incorporate neuroscience in my framework and am trained in EMDR, IFS, somatic experiencing and mindfulness based stress reduction. My lived experience as a neurocomplex, queer and mixed race person familiar with illness informs my work.
My priority is to create a safe, authentic environment where you are able to nurture whatever change you seek for yourself. I offer both in-person and virtual therapy sessions. Please feel free to contact me for an initial video consultation to see if we may be a good fit.
