I am very much “me” in and out of therapy. My main goal is to align myself with my clients to build a therapeutic relationship worth investing in. I understand that for some, therapy may be a bit scary at first; therefore, I remain down to earth and engaging in hopes that others will feel comfortable.
I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We will look at the relationship that exists between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, as well as how we can intervene to create healthier patterns. Additionally, I utilize DBT and solution-focused skills. As I carry out therapy, I do so with a person-centered and strength-based approach in mind.
Life is challenging at times and I'm aware of the positive impact therapy can have as you navigate those challenges. I encourage you to take this next step forward; that is where growth will become possible!
