Trauma is not just for someone who went to war or was physically abused as a child. These events definitely will cause someone to be traumatized. However, more people are walking around with heavy emotion weights due to many types of abuse, witnessing abuse, neglectful households, systematic problems like poverty or racism. Whether you experienced one big event or many different ones, I like to help people kids to adults heal from their past. it is time to plant healthier roots!
As an EDMR trained therapist, I assist children, teens and adults own their past to be able to heal now and thrive in their future. I will assist children and adults to identify how their past is effecting their life through behaviors or physical symptoms. This way your past does not have to hold you back anymore!
Helping children with big feelings can be hard on the families, too. Please let me know how I can help your family develop strong roots and thrive as a family. This means, I see teens and adults to help every member of the family thrive. Additionally, I will provide parent coaching to help parents with solid parenting skills.
