Short wait list for new clients. Are you or your child struggling with a difficult transition in life, anxiety, depression, body image distress, or low self-esteem? I see individuals of all ages, although my experience counseling children and adolescents suffering from eating disorders led me to discover a strong interest in working with children (10 years and older), teens, families, and emerging adults. I understand that a therapeutic alliance between counselor and client is essential, and focus initial sessions on building that bond.

I use a person-centered approach combined with techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). As a firm believer in the DBT principle of balancing acceptance and change, I strive to validate and accept clients for who they are while also supporting them through change and growth.
I understand that you and your family are busy and offer evening and weekend appointments to accommodate! In addition to my passion for mental health, I enjoys volunteering with Special Olympics, reading a good book, traveling, and listening to podcasts while walking my adorably goofy dog.
