Do you live in a constant state of anxiety? Are you experiencing feelings of depression that you have difficulty managing? I am experienced in helping people find solutions to manage their life in a more positive light. I believe that the connection the therapist makes with the client is vital. That connection allows the client to open up and express their concerns to the therapist, and together they can discover strategies for improvement. I help clients work on symptom reduction and help them achieve the goals they want in their lives by creating small, achievable steps.
I have experience working with people of all ages. I offer child and adolescent therapy, along with adult counseling. In child therapy I use the act of playing with toys as a way to connect with the children and make them feel comfortable. For adults, I utilize CBT to help clients understand how their thoughts affect their feelings and behaviors.
