I am passionate about serving families in Kansas City, especially mothers within the BIPOC & Latinx community. Social justice is an important issue in our world, and work needs to be done to continue to build up systemically oppressed individuals who don't yet have the knowledge & resources to advocate for themselves. I believe that every individual is born with the strength & resilience that is required when facing life's challenges & difficulties. As a therapist, it's my job to help clients uncover their strengths, & provide the tools necessary to be an even stronger, more empowered mom. It takes a village to raise a child!
Our work together will empower my clients to find their voice & realize their own strengths in advocating for themselves, while also growing as an individual. I am drawn to serving other women & mothers in the Latina community who may be feeling the weight of societal oppression, & the prejudices and biases that are in place and working against them.
It is my mission to build up all mothers, and challenge the societal norms that actively work to keep them quiet and out of sight. Together we can work to create the life you have always envisioned for yourself, and make it a life worth living. You do not have to walk this journey alone.
