As a licensed psychologist for over 30 years, I am highly experienced in working with adults of all ages (emerging adults to older adults) and backgrounds to help understand or change their feelings or behaviors, or to work through a challenging situation or trauma. I use an authentic and interactive approach in working together to understand your experiences, develop goals and reach them in an open and supportive environment. I am especially drawn to helping those of diverse backgrounds, including culturally diverse and LGBTQ+ issues, in coping with mental health issues.
My training and experience include cognitive behavioral, relational, dynamic, and somatic therapies as we all need a variety of “tools” to address different issues. I am trained in using IFS (Internal Family Systems) for individuals.
Feel free to contact me for a consultation. Together we can see if we are a "good fit" to move forward in therapy.
