Some people experience discomfort or emotional distress from difficult life events such as grief/loss, divorce, family discord, abuse, or other traumatic experiences. I believe that trust is at the center of a meaningful counseling experience. My compassion and empathetic nature and my ability to connect with others helps me to build a trusting counseling relationship. My specialties include helping adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, codependency, self-esteem, relationship and communication issues.
I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and my background as a music therapist allows me to draw from a variety of interventions and therapeutic techniques in order to find the treatment that best fits your goals and builds on your personal strengths.
