I believe that counseling is a process of learning how to make sense of and work through life experiences that we have not yet been able to handle. When we haven't fully integrated these experiences we are unconsciously reliving them, in an effort to understand them better, which causes us symptoms and suffering.
I am trained in several treatment approaches and often blend different methods from CBT, EMDR, Parts work, Brain Spotting, Mindfulness, and somatic yoga to help with processing these experiences in a more digestible way. In addition, I teach breathing and visual exercises to help calm the nervous system and increase awareness of the mind body connection.

Breathwork Classes
Breathwork is a powerful mind-body practice that uses intentional breathing techniques to support emotional, physical, and nervous system healing. The way we breathe directly impacts the nervous system, which is why conscious breathing can help reduce stress, regulate anxiety, improve emotional awareness, and create a greater sense of calm and clarity. Because emotions and trauma are often stored within the body, breathwork can help gently access and release built-up tension, suppressed emotions, and patterns of stress that may no longer be serving you. Many people experience breathwork as grounding, energizing, emotionally freeing, and deeply restorative.
