I believe that the foundation of successful therapeutic work is forming strong, collaborative relationships with my clients. This emphasis is essential when tackling complex problems and stressors. I join with clients to heal from trauma, build emotional skills and resilience, and gain insight into relationships and events, both past and present. As a parent myself, I enjoy working with clients transitioning to parenthood, including fertility patients. I have expertise in trauma therapy with a focus on medical trauma.
I have a warm, relational approach to my work, engaging clients in a dialogue rather than only listening. I ask for feedback to ensure that my clients are getting their needs met in therapy, and recognize the importance of flexibility in scheduling and clinical methods as issues evolve over time.
