Welcome all, I'm Katie! If you are looking for a safe space to talk about whatever may be bothering you, I'm the lady you are looking for! It can be hard to start therapy, but I provide a judge-free zone. I work with preteens, teenagers, young adults/college students, and young adults.
I have experience working with depression, many forms of anxiety, relationship concerns, confidence building, gender identity, trauma, LGBTQIA+, multicultural perspectives, high functioning neurodivergence, internalization/negative coping skills, fandom/internet culture impact, and understanding the weight of family patterns and generational trauma!
I use a variety of approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused, Mindfulness, Reality Therapy, Career Counseling, Positive Psychology perspectives, and others to help guide individuals across rough waters. I take a more holistic approach with treatment as well as try to empower folks of their own resilience with a strength-based model.
I want to help you overcome barriers that keep you from living as you desire. I am a dorky lady with a passion to learn with you and what hurdles stand in your path, but I know how hard making that first step can be.
