I work with individuals and couples, and specialize in working with survivors of trauma and interpersonal violence. I also work well with people experiencing distress in their personal relationships and those who need support navigating anxiety, depression, negative self-image, grief, and struggles with trust. My approach to therapy is to help people identify, understand, and process their emotions, get to the root of what is causing distress, and to build new patterns and skills to navigate life's challenges.
I work with teens and adults with diverse, multicultural, LGBTQIA+ identities. I value exploring the impact of trauma and various life experiences, including how these experiences shape identity and self-expression. I practice Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and utilize narrative and interpersonal approaches.
