I provide individual counseling to adults. My clients are diverse and initiate therapy for an array of reasons. Counseling is a place where you are validated and encouraged to be the person you are and create the life you want to live. I create an environment that promotes authenticity, clarity, and confidence. I believe that the presence of these attributes helps us remember that our potential to create change is always present.
I provide traditional psychotherapy, as well as EMDR. I work with adults who have experienced trauma and who struggle with anxiety, as well as individuals who would like to explore their general life stressors including relationships, family, sexual identity, career and other stage of life experiences.
I use a multi-systemic approach, drawing from a diverse selection of evidenced-based treatment methods to help each client meet their personal goals. I understand that the same approach does not always work for everyone. Regardless of the specific model I provide, my approach is humanistic and empowerment-based.
