I've been in practice for many years, in both medical clinics and private practice settings, so I have treated all kinds of issues. Psychotherapy is a deeply personal and intimate experience, and I value the privilege of being a part of a person's commitment to change. Areas of advanced training include but are not limited to Brainspotting, the quick pulse (by Jo Dunning), codependence and abuse recovery, emotional freedom technique, Matrix Reimprinting, cognitive and psychodynamic psychotherapy, poetry therapy, marital and family therapy, sexual therapy, focused mindfulness, quantum entrainment, and spiritually focused therapy.
I tailor each session according to the client's needs. One size does not fit all. I recognize the importance of how the body, mind, and emotions work together to find ways to cope, and what no longer serves as new tools are put into place.
The therapeutic relationship is all-important in establishing trust and a willingness to face oneself, because mediating fear is a natural challenge in the process. This allows therapy to become a liberating and empowering experience in which the individual can recognize their wholeness and experience healing.
