About
I have had experience with many alcoholic/addicts and have worked in treatment for over 13 years. I have also worked with many clients who have had significant trauma in their history. I am comfortable with both men and women, dealing with issues ranging from life transition, divorce, and narcissistic parents and spouses. We will discuss self-limiting beliefs and how they have affected your mind, body, and soul. When the belief is changed within the subconscious mind, behavior changes, and thus, life will significantly change.
I focus on the factors that lead to the abuse of alcohol and drugs. In addition, I have had experience in treating anxiety and depression, a common co-morbidity of addiction. Divorce recovery is another specialty, knowing that it is a significant grieving process that benefits from therapy.
For my clients dealing with PTSD, I often use Internal Family Systems therapy and Energy Psychology techniques for relief from trauma and anxiety.
