Dr. Kathy Lukey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Kentucky who has been practicing since 1993. She has a B.A. in Counseling and Rehabilitation, a Master’s in Social Work, and a Doctorate in Counseling Education. Life can be both joyful, and difficult. Both things can be true. She has more than 30 years of experience helping her clients explore, develop, and implement ways to live a fun, joy filled life. Dr.
Lukey specializes in trauma work, addictions, women and men specific issues, couple’s therapy, and adolescents. She has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. For decades she has been in management for large hospitals working in the psychiatry departments and as a Director of Clinical Services.
Her love of working with clients and providing psychotherapy has always led her back to private practice settings. She looks forward to meeting with you. Dr. Lukey is a lover of all animals, nature, especially hiking, and spending time with family and friends which to her are one of the same.
