I work with teens, adults and couples seeking help with issues such as grief or loss, cancer support, relationship issues, depression, anxiety and stress. I often incorporate meditation, mindfulness and imagery techniques along with more traditional approaches if clients desire.
I am a certified Gestalt Therapist with over 25 years experience providing psychotherapy in hospital and private practice settings. I have extensive group facilitation experience, including stress management, relaxation training, and psychotherapy groups. I facilitate women's support groups privately, and Cancer Support and Bereavement groups at Cancer Support Community.
I often work with clients to develop personal relaxation training, imagery and mindfulness skills. I develop CD's customized for the individual to help clients cope with uniquely personal challenges such as cancer, surgery, anxiety, developing relaxation skills, and mindfulness practice.
