You don't have to keep carrying it alone. If life has become overwhelming, you're struggling with the effects of trauma, or you simply know that something needs to change, reaching out for counseling can be a courageous first step. I offer a compassionate, judgement-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you begin to heal and move forward. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I have specialized training in understanding how trauma can affect our emotions, relationships, behaviors, and our sense of safety and connection. I believe that an educational component to therapy provides empowerment.
Throughout my career, I've partnered with military agencies, schools, DCYFS, and the court systems to support individuals and families. I have particular experience working with military families, Veterans and First Responders, as well as C-PTSD, acute stress reactions, anxiety, depression, self-harm, grief, divorce, family reunification and parent coaching.
Seeking counseling can be one of the most difficult decisions a person can make-and one of the bravest. You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin. You have already taken an important step by being here. We can start exactly where you are.
