I help adults and youth navigating lives burdened by depression, anxiety, and traumatic stress. These struggles often surface as coping mechanisms like fixation on food/body image, lack of motivation, dysfunctional relationships, screen time addiction, oppositional behavior at school or home. I entered this field because I love to help people change the way they think and move forward feeling a greater sense of peace in their bodies. Foundationally, I reject nihilism and remain committed to helping others recognize their intrinsic worth when it has been buried beneath hardship, trauma and or the weight of an indifferent world.
For youth, I use an evidence-based framework to help them overcome emotional and behavioral challenges, while working with their families to promote positive family functioning.
Additionally, I offer couples therapy for those seeking deeper connection or healing after infidelity.
My style is eclectic and collaborative, drawing from modalities such as DBT, CBT, TF-CBT, and attachment and family systems theories. You don’t have to figure this out alone.
