Hey there! I’m Katie. My goal is to help you get to a place where you can ultimately help yourself. Therapy jargon can sometimes feel clinical, vague, or dismissive, so I aim to create a space where you feel like you’re talking to a real person who genuinely wants to help you get your life back on track.
I take a holistic approach to mental health because our lifestyle absolutely impacts the way we feel emotionally. Whether it’s sleep, diet, stress, relationships, movement, hygiene, routines, or overall self-care, I want to understand the full picture so we can make meaningful changes or learn healthier ways to adapt and cope.
My values as a therapist are authenticity, congruency, and humility. I love helping people build emotional regulation skills, increase self-awareness, and improve communication in their relationships and daily lives. I believe the foundation of therapy is honesty; getting truthful with yourself about the areas of life that may no longer be working for you.
Outside of therapy, I’m a wife and a mom. I love nature, thrifting, cooking, reading, and having deep conversations about philosophy and the meaning of life. One of my favorite quotes is: “Don’t think your way into better living. Live your way into better thinking.”
