About
My typical client is a child or adolescent patient dealing with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, or a child that just needs a shoulder to lean on or a person they are comfortable enough with to share their feelings. My therapy is for children, teens, and families who would like to improve their life, emotion regulation, communication and coping skills. This type of therapy is for those who are not living up to their best potential in life and would like to do and feel better. The goal here is to learn productive and healthy coping skills to take with you for the rest of your life.
I am a certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapist through Marsha Linehan's Behavioral Tech Program. I am apart of a DBT consultation team with Northwell Health with a team of fellow DBT therapist who offer each other their support as well as therapeutic advice. I use DBT skills on not only high risk patients who have been hospitalized but everyone.
I know that it can be hard to find affordable certified DBT therapy within the tri-state area, but my aim is to help those who do not have as many resources as others. I believe every patient should have the same opportunity as one another to live a happy and health life, physically and mentally.
