After 7 years as a teacher and school counselor, I now serve as a Licensed Professional Counselor. My background is founded on a passion for working with teens, guiding them as they navigate the tumultuous period of adolescence. I offer a safe, non-judgmental place to support personal growth. Older adolescents are offered more privileges in privacy; however, I ensure that parents remain frequently updated and well-informed. Play therapy is also my passion—a research-based modality for working with younger children.
Young children do not possess the vocabulary or self-knowledge to discuss their troubles in talk therapy; instead, they naturally play them out. Provided with specific toys to use as “words,” a child can process through issues and receive the same encouragement, non-judgment, and opportunities to reflect as an adult would in talk therapy.

I will cultivate for you and your child a safe, encouraging space to expand on individual strengths and help you reach the bright future your family deserves.
