I am a mental health professional who believes strongly in a collaborative approach to treatment and client-centric work. I view my role as a facilitator for change, and emphasize staying aligned with your personal values, experiences, roles, and identity. Topical conversations can often go deeper, linking consistent patterns to values or long term goals, and points of intersection can be valuable moments of insight. Other tenants of my practice include trauma-responsive interventions, neurodivergent affirming care, Queer, Kink, and Poly-aware practice, identity development work, and a systemic perspective on mental health care.
I believe it is essential to understand the self within a larger context to discover the sources of personal stressors. Hand in hand with identity, I also adopt a values driven, Existential approach paired with skill building and exploration to specifically target areas that we identify and adjust throughout our time together.
The decision to begin or return to treatment can be a stressful one, and I’m so happy you’ve found your way here. Please feel free to reach out to me if you feel like we would work well together! There are often anxieties associated with seeking out or returning to treatment, and I'm glad to begin by guiding you through that process.
