I provide therapy for adults, college students and adolescents with various mental health concerns that include mood disorders, PTSD, grief and adjustment disorders, and relational distress. I seek to form deep and authentic relationships with clients and sit with them in struggle and loss. I empathetically connect with clients in order to facilitate healing in a safe environment and empower them to find their voice and practice healthy practices in relationships. I help clients move forward by collaboratively solving problems, examining and restructuring negative beliefs, and bringing forth their true identity and strengths.
In order to effectively meet clients needs I use a variety of techniques. I work primarily from a Person-Centered and Trauma-Informed perspective, and provide EMDR, CBT, DBT, and EFT therapy modalities. I hope to help clients feel known and supported, and empowered to live healthy and happy lives according to their values.
I work at a private practice called LiveWell Gainesville, which specializes in trauma counseling and psychiatric assessment, but also provides services to individuals, couples, and families of all ages and orientations.
