I have worked with many clients from diverse backgrounds to move forward from past traumas and to find peace. I serve as a guide to help clients navigate their own unique road to healing and truth through the use of EMDR, an evidence based intervention for trauma. I am a licensed social worker with over 15 years of human service experience and I have a doctorate degree in social work. I also use humor and laughter to bring joy to our sessions.
I pride myself on providing non-judgmental, culturally sensitive, and gender affirming care. I believe that clients are the experts of their own life experiences. I provide therapy for depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, substance use, and major life transitions. I have a focus on treating LGBTQ+ related trauma, including recovery from conversion therapy.
