About
I am currently a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who received her Master’s from Rhode Island College, School of Social Work. I have spent the last 14 years working with children, adolescents, young adults (18-24), adults (24+), families, and couples in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient, residential, and school settings. I pride myself on tailoring clinical treatment to each individuals strengths, needs and wants in order to assist clients in reaching their goals while simultaneously providing a safe and nurturing environment for clients to feel comfortable recounting specific trauma related events.
When treating clients, I incorporate techniques and strategies from an array of perspectives such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychoeducation, Family Systems, as well as Solution-Focused, and Strength-Based theories. I also have experience as a victim advocate, providing support and services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
