While there are many challenges to this life, there are also many ways to navigate better, therapy provides the space to learn to cope better, problem solve, heal, get motivated, improve our outlook, find strength and to just be heard. I love the saying "if we don't develop new coping skills then we default to the ones learned in childhood." The problem is that for many these mechanisms are often not helpful and can be very disrupt in our everyday lives and relationships.
